Responsibilities

• Assist the Gelato Chef in the daily production of gelato.
• Ensure the consistent production of gelato, along with all related ingredients and components.
• Support the Gelato Chef with inventory management.
• Work closely with the Gelato Chef to develop gelato styles, flavours, and recipes in line with the Owner's vision.
• Maintain high standards of taste, texture, presentation, and consistency.
• Follow all recipes, processes, and procedures in detail to ensure repeatability and quality control.
• Ensure hygiene, food safety, and regulatory requirements are strictly adhered to during production.
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen in accordance with food safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Food Safety Certificate (Level 1), not close to expiry.
• Open to candidates with or without gelato-making experience.
• A genuine willingness to learn and take instructions.
• Able to work efficiently with team members and communicate clearly to support smooth kitchen operations.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented, with the ability to uphold kitchen routines and standards.
