ROLES:

Step into the role of a Gelato Server at Gelato Messina, where every scoop is an opportunity to create a memorable guest experience. Be part of a team that celebrates creativity, quality and exceptional hospitality, bringing our unique flavours and passion for gelato to life.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Create positive and memorable guest experiences by delivering a high level of service.

● Engage guests, understand their preferences and recommend flavors to enhance their experience.

● Develop an in-depth knowledge on Messina’s story, gelato making philosophy and flavor offerings.

● Confidently scoop and serve gelato while maintaining presentation and portion standards.

● Drive sales through knowledgeable recommendations, upselling and product awareness.

● Ensure all stations/ operational areas are clean, orderly and replenished.

● Support daily opening, closing and cleaning duties.

● Champion cleanliness and hygiene standards in the restaurant, following sanitisation protocols.

● Participate in ongoing training, daily briefings and team development.

● Take a keen interest in food, wine, the hospitality industry and events across the Black Sheep community.

● Nurture a positive working environment, building strong relationships with teammates.
