General Accountant/Payroll Specialist

Description

The General Accountant/Payroll Specialist is responsible for the daily income journal balancing, audit reporting and payroll tasks.

Responsible for overseeing the efficient processing of accounting related information according to Avion Hospitality standards.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience hospitality accounting environment a plus.
• Experience in processing payroll a plus
• Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically in Excel (mid-level preferred).
• Ability to learn new technology quickly.
• Clear understanding of General Ledger concepts.
• Ability to work with deadlines and take a creative approach to problem resolution.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Attention to detail, problem solving and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
