In the last three years we have recruited over 100 new employees, ranging from world experts in specialist sectors to recent graduates, for a variety of positions and from backgrounds as varied as law, business, industrial ecology, physiotherapy and finance.
Our three largest offices are in Norway, so this is where the majority of our recruitment takes place, however we have also had openings in our offices globaly.
The main areas of our business are
- Underwriting – our underwriters assess requests for insurance cover from Members and clients, considering the levels of risk involved and negotiating appropriate prices, terms and conditions.
- Claims – issuing an insurance policy is a promise to pay if a ship is involved in an accident. Our claims people assess and handle all claims, focusing on getting issues resolved efficiently so that our clients can get their businesses back on track as quickly as possible.
- Finance and risk management – this team provides vital support to the management of the group and its individual businesses, overseeing its ongoing financial strength.
Other opportunities in support services such as Technology, Customer Support and Human Resources also occur from time to time.

Applicants must have excellent written and spoken English and be computer literate with PC and Windows based programme experience
