GENERAL ASSEMBLY MATERIAL HANDLER

Hourly Pay Rate: $16.00

Shift: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8am-2pm

Performs repetitive hand-assembly operations to mass produce products; assist with workflow to/from shipping and employees/program participants; perform quality control functions as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Fasten parts together by hand or using hand tools
• Hand-package parts/products/kits
• Inspects materials for accuracy
• Moves boxes/other work and restocks as requested
• Assists with distribution of work/product throughout building as needed
• May perform the following functions as part of shift responsibilities: taping, labeling, counting, attaching tags, inserting
• Performs light maintenance of work area(s)
• Complies with all agency policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Transferrable work experience preferred.

• Desire to perform work assignment.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• May require repetitive body movements such as twisting, reaching, sitting and standing.

• Ability to operate and package materials.
