NoTraffic is building the next generation of software-defined traffic infrastructure. As our first General Counsel, you will own all legal, regulatory, and compliance matters and act as a core partner to the leadership team.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role. You will build the legal function from the ground up while directly enabling revenue growth, managing risk, and supporting global expansion.
Your day to day will look like:
Commercial & Product
- Lead all customer, partner, and channel agreements, with a focus on the North America market
- Build scalable contract frameworks to accelerate deal velocity
- Partner with product and R&D on compliance, data usage, and AI-based systems
- Ensure alignment between product, regulatory requirements, and market needs
Regulatory & Government
- Navigate regulations across mobility, smart infrastructure, privacy, and AI
- Engage directly with regulators and public sector stakeholders
Legal Infrastructure, IP & Operations
- Build and scale the legal function from the ground up
- Establish processes, policies, and legal infrastructure
- Lead all matters related to intellectual property, including patents and IP strategy
- Support manufacturing compliance and lead legal aspects of supplier and vendor negotiations
Requirements
- 10+ years of legal experience
- Combination of top-tier law firm and in-house experience at a high-growth tech company
- Experience operating in a fast-growing tech company at $10M+ in annual revenue (SaaS and/or hardware)
- Strong experience supporting commercial/SaaS businesses and hardware-based products
- Proven experience supporting the U.S. market
- Experience supporting venture-backed companies
- Hands-on experience leading or participating in fundraising rounds
