GENERAL ENGINEER (ENERGY MANAGER)

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for OPM STEM to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as the Directorate of Public Works Energy Manager, who implements the Army energy program in the Garrison.

Analyze energy data, and conduct surveys, audits, studies, and trend analysis to develop calculations and recommendations.

Develop architectural-engineering specifications for technical inspections of buildings and utility systems for energy efficiency.

Develop polices and efficiencies to reduce the Army's energy cost.

Serve as project manager for energy contracts.
