GENERAL ENGINEER
You will serve as the PMA-280 Production and Recertification (Missile Systems Lead) Assistant Program Manager for Systems Engineering (APMSE) responsible for the full-spectrum, multi-disciplinary technical management of the missile subsystems hardware and software that comprise both the Tomahawk Block IV and Block V missile product lines. You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in the SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, AIR PLATFORM SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
You will be responsible and accountable to manage engineering and technical efforts across the entire Missile Systems portfolio.
You will participate in the development and design of new systems by assessing if available or imminent technology is sufficient to meet requirements or system concepts are applicable to fleet operational requirements.
You will formulate engineering design concepts and performance requirements which provide the basis for overall technical and engineering planning for the assigned system.
You will develop project planning objectives for engineering development of current and long range programs.
You will integrate cost estimates with program plans (schedules, development requirements), test and evaluation requirements, projected problems, etc.,) into a budget.
You will evaluate technological developments and their applicability to the assigned program, and recommend appropriate technical changes throughout the design process.
You will review all technical changes and approve/disapprove such changes with regard to established requirements, plans, scheduling and funding.
