GENERAL ENGINEER
Summary
Engineer at a U.S. Navy lab writing quality-assurance requirements and deficiency reports for aircraft launch-and-recovery systems.
You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in the Flight Safe and QA Engineering Branch (BL41600), Prototyping and Manufacturing Division, Prototype, Manufacturing and Test Department of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
You will generate the Quality Assurance Requirements for Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Technical Data Requirements requests.
You will generate Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDR) for non-conforming ALRE material delivered to both PMD and the fleet and you will facilitate the subsequent investigation and documentation within the Joint Deficiency Reporting System.
You will review and recommend approval or disapproval of Source Approval Request packages submitted by manufacturers interested in manufacturing ALRE Critical Safety Items
