General Engineer (Planner)

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Provide technical guidance, direction, and coordination in administering the Installation Master Plan on existing and required facilities as well as anticipated developments and requirements.

Assists in preparation, implementation, and maintenance of the Real Property Master Plan (RPMP).

Develops documents and supporting information for project submissions for all projects in the Real Property Master Plan.

Serves as a technical advisor and liaison on all matters pertaining to master planning including long-range mission needs, military construction, restoration and modernization, policies, and overall facility utilization.

Requests and receives obligation authority from headquarters for all master plan related projects and forwards appropriate purchasing documents for obligation of funds and execution of projects.
