GENERAL ENGINEER

You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in the ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT (CODE 200/S200) of NAVAL SHIP REPAIR FACILITY. ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.***

You will be responsible for guiding, coordinating, monitoring and reporting the Engineering and Planning effort being carried out for specific ships or projects.

You will prioritize the preparation and issue of technical work documents (TWDs), providing waterfront engineering representation for Hull, Mechanical and Electrical availability work items.

You will provide assistance in resolving systematic and unusually complex technical problems related to ship systems and components.

You will provide system and component installation or modification information to ensure specification compliance.
