This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The installation rests in the beautiful 'hill and lake' country of Central Texas between Killeen and Copperas Cove and is approximately 60 miles north of the capital city of Austin.
Serve on the staff of the Master Planning Division with responsibility for managing the Fort Hood Master Plan.
Serve as the Directorate of Public Works principal authority on all matters pertaining to the Installation Design Guide (IDG).
Review project specs, drawings, or reports to ensure construction program progresses in accordance with approved project priorities, policies, laws, regulations, Installation Design Guide (IDG), and the Installation Master Plan.
Prepare and conduct Installation Real Property Planning Board meetings which advise the Garrison Commander on a wide range of comprehensive planning issues such as priorities, future plans and amendments, long range policies, strategies, etc.
Use automated management information systems such as Army Strategic Perspective for Infrastructure Requirements Evaluation (ASPIRE) System to prioritize new construction, make realignment/stationing decisions, or prepare budget submissions.
