General Foreman
Essential Job Functions
- Oversee underground electric field operations up to 35 kV.
- Experience overseeing union workers and understanding contracts
- Manage Field Working Foremen, monitor productivity, and assign daily workloads
- Assign crew personnel and manage related job classifications
- Minimize downtime and maximize crew efficiency
- Assist with Estimating jobs & review of daily job progress
- Ensure jobs are profitable and come ahead of schedule
- Responsible for daily timesheet submittals to ECC HQ
- Responsible for daily reporting of PTO time for crews to HR
- Ensure crews arrive at the jobsite ahead of time and enforce a full workday
- Responsible for the Technical Planning of all conversion work and energization
- Oversee and plan Key Technical aspects of UG high voltage projects
- Attend pre-bid and pre-construction project calls and meetings
- Has the ability to enter electric MHs to perform or direct work when needed
- Troubleshoots predicaments and finds solutions to issues in the field
- Responsible for all equipment needed at each job site or laydown yard
- Secure the laydown yard, trailer, electricity, equipment, and access doors at the end of each day.

- Read and understand electric design, construction maps, drawings, and diagrams
Minimum Requirements
- 10 plus years as an electric construction supervisor in a capacity like current requirements
- Construction background (aerial, underground, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of splicing and installing UG Cable up to 35kv
- Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Understands tagging procedures and grounding procedures
- High School Diploma or GED
- Understands DOT and permitting procedures
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree
- CDL License
