General Handyman

Job Description

• Minor Plumbing Repairs & Installation: Repairing leaky faucets, taps, and toilets; unblocking sinks and drains; installing new sanitary fixtures and piping systems.
• Basic Electrical Tasks: Install and replace wiring, conduits, panel, light bulbs, tubes, switches, and power points.
• General Carpentry Work: Assembling furniture; repairing or replacing doors, hinges, cabinet handles, and drawer rollers; building small shelving units.
• Painting & Surface Finishing: Interior and exterior painting, including touching up baseboards, painting rooms, staining wooden surfaces, and sealing/varnishing
• Minor Construction & Drywall Repair: Patching holes in drywall, repairing plaster, mending cracked walls, and repairing damaged trims.
• General Preventative Maintenance: Tightening fittings, lubricating door mechanisms, cleaning/ changing AC air filters, and conducting routine inspections
• Outdoor Property Care: Cleaning gutters, pressure washing driveways, repairing broken fences, and fixing small masonry cracks
• Repair Assessment & Reporting: Diagnosing faults in machinery, equipment, or fixtures and advising on necessary repairs.
• Any other duties as assigned by the superior

Job Requirement

• Forklift license is a plus (if not, training will be provided)
• Experience as a bricklayer/fitter, preferably in an industrial environment will have added advantage
