General Labor

1. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
   1. Manufacturer of foundry cores, luting paste, and packaging for railroad maintenance supplier.
   2. Be able to execute work orders and produce welding kits for railroad maintenance.
   3. Strong focus on safety, quality and efficiency.

1. KEY AREAS OF ACTIVITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
   1. Learn how to set-up, run, and operate various production and packaging machines.
   2. Be able to track and keep record for progress on hourly boards.
   3. Be trainable, able to learn OSHA safety standards, 5S, and able to work in a team setting.
   4. Be able to work without physical limitations - bending, twisting, or squatting may be necessary from time to time.
   5. Be able to stack a 50 lb package when necessary.
   6. Forklift training is offered but, it is a plus to have experience - not required.
   7. Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

3. SKILLS NEEDED
   1. No experience required. Basic problem-solving a plus, will train.
   2. High school diploma or GED.
   3. Prior factory experience a plus, but not necessary.
   4. Self-starter; able to work in an independent manner when required.
   5. Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization and achieve cultural change in the face of potential resistance.
   6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
   7. Ability to train all levels of the organization and across all shifts of operation.
4. MEASUREMENT

Primary measures of successful performance will be:

1. Manufacturing efficiencies, safety records ,attendance, and work area cleanliness.
2. Manufacturing rate to quality standards.
