General Labor

Purcell Tire is seeking dedicated and hardworking laborers to join our team. You will perform various tasks that support our operations and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

· Ability to pass a background & drug screen

· Ability to work both independently and as a team

· Ability to lift, push, and/or pull heavy objects

· Must be able to perform repetitive tasks

· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

· Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment

· Previous experience in a labor-intensive role preferred

· Experience in manufacturing, production tools/equip a plus

· Forklift experience a plus

Duties And Responsibilities:

· Commit to continual improvement, training & professional growth

· Operate equipment as needed after training

· Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor

· Load and unload materials and equipment

· Safely and accurately stack and store inventory

· Assist in cleaning, cutting, moving, assembling, tagging as required

· Follow daily procedures and protocols

· Maintain a clean warehouse, yard, and shop area

· Clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment

· Embrace Purcell’s culture of safety

· Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures

· Regular attendance in accordance with assigned schedule

· Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management

DRUG TESTING

Purcell Tire tests for the presence of THC in all drug screenings for this position, due to the safety-sensitive nature of the job and the potential for injury or death when a tire is installed improperly, or a safety-related mechanical issue is not properly conveyed to a customer. It is a bona fide occupational qualification for service technicians to be unimpaired, so the Company will continue testing for THC and other drugs under the safety-sensitive exceptions allowed by your state.
