General laborer

At Atomic Transport, we take pride in being a leading local bulk hauling company based out of Chattanooga, TN with a dedicated fleet of company-owned assets and W2 driver employees that specialize in waste transportation from local transfer stations to landfills. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Tarping Laborer to join our team. The primary responsibility of the tarping laborer is to cover and secure loads using tarps or other protective coverings. This role requires physical labor, attention to detail, and the ability to work in outdoor environments under various weather conditions.

• Pay starting at: $20 an hour

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to perform physical tasks that require strength and stamina, such as lifting and securing tarps.
• Work in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor environment, subject to changing weather conditions.
• May be required to work in loud or busy environments with heavy machinery or equipment in operation.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience in labor or construction roles is a plus.
• Ability to climb tipper trailers to tarp.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Knowledge of basic safety standards and ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision when needed.
