General Laborer - Saturday 8:45am - 5:15pm
The Opportunity
Slegg Building Materials is currently looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual for the part-time position of General Labour. The General Labourer assists the warehouse team with the preparation, loading, and unloading of building materials. The shifts are Saturdays 8:45am - 5:15pm and the wage range is $19 - $22.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
• Assist with the preparation of trucks for loading.
• Assist customers with locating product and loading vehicles.
• Maintain the general appearance and housekeeping of work areas.
• Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Assist other warehouse staff as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Basic hand tool skills.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100lbs.
• Frequently climbing up and down stairs and onto trucks and material.
• Pulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movements with weight
Saturday 08:45am - 5:15pm
The (range of) compensation for this position is $20.77 to $24.09
