Key Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage month-end, quarter-end and year end closing activities
  • Review and approve journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Oversee preparations for monthly reporting
  • Supervise and guide GL team members
  • Allocate tasks and monitor workload distribution
  • Review team output for accuracy and completeness
  • Provide coaching, training and performance feedback
  • Drive team standardization, automation to improve productivity and efficiency to implement best practice across entities
  • Enhance closing timelines
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP requirements and company policy
  • Maintain strong internal controls
  • Review and analyze financial results to identify and mitigate financial risks
  • Investigate variances and unusual transactions in the monthly close
  • Handle multiple entities / region
  • Work with business stakeholders on financial matters
  • Ensure SOP is created and up to date
  • Support internal / external audit and tax related request

Skills & Qualifications

  • Advance Diploma / Degree in Accounting with more than 8 years working experience in accounting job
  • 2 - 3 years team lead / supervisory role
  • Experience in shared services or MNC preferred
  • Strong in process improvement and automation knowledge
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Able to effectively communicate with working partners in foreign countries
  • Ability to work under pressure and team player
  • Good in English & Mandarin speaking and writing
