JOB PURPOSE:

Supports the maintenance department and its team members by performing routine maintenance, repair, and project-related tasks under direct supervision. Helps ensure facilities, equipment, and fixtures are maintained in safe, functional, and presentable condition.

• Assists with installation, maintenance, and repair work related to carpentry, masonry, basic electrical, and refrigeration systems.
• Constructs and repairs fixtures and structures using appropriate tools and materials (e.g., fastening, joining, painting, finishing, and applying cement or concrete as needed).
• Cleans, services, and performs basic upkeep on electrical and refrigeration equipment as assigned.
• Maintains work areas in a clean and safe condition and follows all safety procedures.
