General Manager - Breakfree on Cashel - Christchurch

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. Your duties will include:

• Providing strategic leadership to achieve the hotel's financial and operational objectives.
• Developing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
• Fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork among staff members, promoting professional development and empowerment.
• Maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety throughout the property.
• Establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, staff, suppliers, and local authorities.
• Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for differentiation and expansion.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

• Previous experience in a Hotel Management/Operational Manager role
• Demonstrated strategic and operational leadership experience, with the ability to clearly articulate direction and coach the team.
• A proven track record of maintaining excellent product and service standards.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning
• Ability to build, maintain and seek new opportunities / partnerships within the local market
• A positive and energetic attitude
