General Manager-Cross Border Trucking
About the role
Oversee the end-to-end cross-border freight business with full accountability for operational performance, sales results, and compliance.
Key responsibilities
Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial performance of CBT operations and sales
Coordinate with Corporate Finance on reporting, audit, and controls
Ensure accurate billing, revenue recognition, and cost allocation
Coordinate with Corporate HR on talent recruitment, manpower planning, and compliance
Review and approve new customers, contracts, and major quotations
Establish and approve CBT routes, SOPs, and service models
Oversee compliance with customs, permits, and transport regulations of both destination and origin of countries
Monitor and review operational capacity and KPIs
Build and maintain relationships with key cross border freight carriers, customs authorities, and logistics partners
Ensure contingency planning for disruptions (e.g. border closures, peak demand)
