General Manager - CSR - NGO

Hiring GM CSR for a leading group Corporate.

KRA's of the Role

Strategic Leadership:

- Define and drive a visionary CSR roadmap aligned with the organization's mission.

- Identify societal challenges where the organization can deliver the most value.

- Leverage data-driven insights for planning and program enhancement.

Program Development:

- Conceptualize and launch flagship CSR projects in key focus areas (e.g., livelihood, education, environment, healthcare).

- Oversee the implementation of programs with measurable outcomes.

- Monitor and evaluate program performance, ensuring accountability and impact.

Partnerships & Collaboration:

- Build and maintain partnerships with NGOs, government bodies, and social enterprises.

- Act as the organization's ambassador in external forums to build credibility and visibility.

- Drive employee engagement in CSR activities, creating a culture of social responsibility within the organization.

Governance & Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to CSR guidelines under the Companies Act, 2013.

- Develop transparent reporting frameworks and communicate progress to stakeholders.

- Establish risk mitigation strategies for CSR projects and partnerships.

Budgeting & Fund Management:

- Prepare and manage the CSR budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.

- Oversee audits and financial reviews of CSR activities.

Team Building:

- Recruit, mentor, and manage a dedicated CSR team.

- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment for the team to excel.

Candidate Profile:

- Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Sustainability, or a related discipline with 15+ years of experience in CSR, sustainability, or related sectors with working exp in Foundations of large groups or NGOs.

- Proven experience in CSR leadership roles, preferably within large foundations or corporates.

- Strong understanding of CSR regulations and best practices in India.

- Exceptional program management and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
