General Manager Distribution
Romark Logistics is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Barling facility, an 825,000+ square foot operation with approximately 100 employees supporting both 70-degree and freezer distribution. This large-scale, multi-functional site operates in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment and plays a critical role in supporting key customer partnerships.
The General Manager will have full ownership of site performance, financial results, and leadership development. This is a highly visible leadership role requiring strong operational command, disciplined execution, and the ability to build alignment across a complex organization.

What You Will Own
- Full P&L responsibility and overall site performance, including safety, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, and cost control
- Leadership of a multi-layer management team across operations, inventory control, quality, safety, HR partnership, and support functions
- Establishment of a structured operating cadence supported by defined KPIs and clear accountability standards
- Optimization of labor planning and resource allocation to meet volume requirements efficiently
- Continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service performance, cost discipline, and operational reliability
- Development of leadership bench strength through coaching, performance management, and succession planning
- Strong, professional partnership with customer leadership to ensure transparency, responsiveness, and service excellence
- Reinforcement of company standards related to safety, compliance, and operational discipline
