General Manager - Finance - FMCG

Job Description:

- Manage the structuring, consolidation and analysis of financial data; develop budgets, forecasts and other financial reports.

- Work collaboratively with operations teams, manage tight deadlines and multitude of Finance and Accounting activities including oversight and management of complete function of the company.

- Effective Planning, Delegation, Coordination with different departments to achieve the desired profitability for the company.

- Develop range of financial and management reports for variance analysis and improvement strategies; preparation of monthly / annual budget and MIS reports to facilitate decision-making.

- Financial planning and analysis; internal and regulatory reporting; accounting operations; fund planning that led to improvements in cost savings, profitability and productivity.

- Liaising with Internal and External stakeholders to develop, implement, and lead numerous conversion projects for improving product costing, inventory analysis, overhead allocation, variance analysis, and financial reporting.

- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for conducting periodic audits evaluating internal control systems to highlight shortcomings and implementing necessary recommendations.

- Adhere to time line on all the statutory compliances.

Desired Candidate:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance with 12+ years of post qualification experience in managing the complete gamut of accounts and finance.

- Hands-on experience with systems and financial automation.

- Expertise in working capital and cash flow management.

- Strong analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong experience in FMCG distribution, trade finance, or consumer goods will be added advantage and candidate with similar experience will be given preference.
