Job Description
Fumichem Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based company specialising in fumigation, pest control and related environmental services.
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to oversee the company's overall operations, drive business growth and ensure operational excellence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day business activities, developing commercial opportunities, supervising teams and implementing strategies to support the company's long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the overall management and daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency, service quality and profitability.
Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
Identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
Manage and supervise operational, administrative and commercial teams.
Monitor financial performance, budgets, operating costs and profitability.
Ensure compliance with Singapore's regulatory requirements, industry standards and workplace safety procedures.
Oversee service delivery across fumigation, pest management and related activities.
Implement operational improvements, internal controls and performance monitoring systems.
Lead recruitment, staff development and performance management.
Work closely with the company's directors on strategic planning, business development and organisational growth.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Business or a related discipline.
At least 4–6 years of relevant professional experience, including significant management or leadership responsibilities.
Proven experience in business operations, strategic planning and financial management.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage teams, develop client relationships and drive business performance.
Good understanding of regulatory compliance, operational risk management and workplace safety.
Ability to work independently, make strategic decisions and manage multiple business priorities.
