General Manager, Graphic Communications
PURPOSE:
To manage a team that develops, cascades and implement marketing strategies designed for Fujifilm penetration, revenues and profit, through Graphic Communication (GC) Service focused activities and market engagement. Act as a centre of competence and knowledge in the Graphic Communication Service industry, with the objective of identifying FUJIFILM opportunities and engaging new and existing markets.
Provide strategic leadership and governance across subsidiaries, ensuring alignment of regional priorities, market development initiatives, customer engagement strategies, and business performance targets.
To manage a team responsible for:
STRATEGIC PLANNING
• Development and implement a Regional Go-to-Market Strategy
• Develop strategies and implement tools for growing and maintaining Fujifilm’s customer base
• Develop Strategies to grow overall GC market GP% contribution though end to end analysis of GC business unit
• Develop strategies and solutions / implement tools in order to assist sustainable print volume growth for customers.
• Interpret and communicate industry dynamics in relation to FUJIFILM opportunities
• Identify the impact of regional technology / consumer / legislative changes on FUJIFILM offerings / opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for new application development that increase recurring revenue and customer lifetime value.
• Identify and develop strategic Third-party vendor relationships to grow print volumes with new and existing customers.
MARKET DEVELOPMENT
• Develop demand for FUJIFILM solutions and offerings amongst Industry influencers and decision makers.
• Engage the market through Industry events to place FUJIFILM offerings and solutions in the purchasing consideration mindset.
• Represent and develop the Fujifilm Business Innovation brand within GC Service Bureau industry forums and associations
• Liaise with industry partners to identify and replicate innovative solutions within the epicenters
• Develop ‘lighthouse’ and high-opportunity accounts via one on one business development sessions with subsidiaries.
• Identify GC Industry partners to assist in development of knowledge sharing for sales skills development.
• Act as a regional Industry spokesperson while building relationships with key Industry associations / groups
• Build internal competencies of the subsidiaries sales staff working within the Graphic Communications industry and offer support to Training on any sales skills development.
• Identify key Business Development activities in mature markets to replicate across the region
• Identify and leverage key areas of competitive difference to create comprehensive Competitive Trade-In (CTI) strategy across the region.
ADVERTISING & PROMOTIONS
• Collaborate with regional teams and Product Marketing to develop field-based collaterals (eg Case Studies, selling tools, presentations, White Papers, etc)
• Develop industry specific A&P campaigns / seminars and customer events with the assistance of Product Marketing and MarCom.
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
• Lead the development and execution of the GC business strategy to achieve regional revenue, profitability, market share and sustainable growth objectives.
• Provide strategic leadership, governance and direction to Subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with regional priorities, corporate objectives and the One Fujifilm approach.
• Drive regional business planning, forecasting, performance management and resource allocation, with accountability for regional P&L, investment decisions and key business KPIs.
• Identify and accelerate business growth opportunities through market expansion, strategic partnerships, acquisitions, new business models and business transformation initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Fujifilm headquarters, regional leadership teams, Subsidiaries, customers, industry associations and strategic partners to strengthen Fujifilm's market position.
• Lead regional pricing, product positioning, go-to-market and commercial strategies to maximize customer value, profitability and competitive advantage.
• Ensure effective risk management, regulatory compliance and adherence to Fujifilm policies while fostering operational excellence across regional markets.
• Develop organizational capabilities and regional leadership talent through succession planning, knowledge sharing and capability-building initiatives.
