About the Role

Guangzhou Mengsen Technologies, a leading smartcard manufacturing company producing SIM cards, debit/ATM cards, prepaid cards, scratch cards, and smart technology solutions, is seeking a General Manager to oversee overall company operations including production, business development, finance, administration, operations, customer service, and staff management — driving business growth, operational efficiency, and high production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth coordination between departments
• Develop and implement business strategies to improve company performance
• Monitor company goals and prepare operational reports
• Supervise smartcard manufacturing processes for quality and efficiency
• Ensure production targets are met and compliance with manufacturing standards
• Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to grow revenue
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Support contract negotiations and customer retention efforts
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and profitability with the finance team
• Supervise department heads and drive staff performance and development
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations
• Maintain high quality standards and manage operational risks

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years' working experience, with at least 3 years in a management position
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably smartcard production, printing, security printing, card personalization, fintech, or telecommunications
• Master's degree or professional certification is an added advantage
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Good knowledge of manufacturing operations and process improvement
• Good understanding of budgeting, operations, and business management
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good communication and report writing skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
