About the Role

TLC Healthcare is one of Victoria's largest integrated healthcare providers, operating aged care homes, medical centres, health clubs, early learning centres and corporate services.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and commercially minded General Manager - Information Technology to lead our ICT function across a complex and evolving organisation.

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of ICT services, ensuring technology remains secure, scalable, reliable and aligned to organisational objectives.

This is a highly visible leadership role that combines strategic planning with operational execution, offering the opportunity to influence key business decisions while driving technology excellence across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of ICT operations, infrastructure, service desk and business applications
• Drive cybersecurity, risk management and compliance initiatives
• Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned to business strategy
• Lead enterprise technology projects and digital transformation programs
• Oversee ICT budgets, procurement and vendor relationships
• Ensure high levels of system availability, performance and business continuity
• Establish and monitor ICT performance metrics, service levels and governance frameworks
• Build, mentor and lead a high-performing technology team
• Partner with executive and operational leaders to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement

About You

You are a strategic technology leader who can confidently navigate both the boardroom and day-to-day operations.

You will bring:

• Significant experience leading ICT functions within a complex multi-site environment
• Proven success managing technology operations, cybersecurity and service delivery
• Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking and business applications
• Experience delivering large-scale technology projects and transformation initiatives
• Demonstrated financial management experience across operating and capital budgets
• Strong stakeholder management, vendor management and leadership capability
• A collaborative leadership style with a focus on performance, accountability and continuous improvement

Healthcare, aged care or other highly regulated industry experience will be highly regarded.
