Responsibilities

Lead the overall operations and profitability (P&L) of the Feed Mill business.
Develop and execute strategic and operational plans to achieve business objectives.
Oversee production, engineering, feed formulation, warehousing, and logistics operations.
Drive production efficiency, capacity utilisation, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, and Quality Assurance to meet customer demand and maintain product excellence.
Ensure compliance with quality, feed safety, and regulatory standards.
Lead and develop a high-performing management team while fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Agriculture, Engineering, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
A postgraduate qualification (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Minimum of 12 years' experience in commercial animal feed manufacturing or a similar agribusiness environment.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role with responsibility for business performance and operations.
Proven experience managing Profit & Loss (P&L), budgeting, and operational performance.
Strong knowledge of feed milling operations, production planning, quality management, and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated leadership, commercial acumen, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
