Job Description & Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Business Development

  • P&L Accountability: Full ownership of the restaurant's profit and loss (P&L), formulating annual budgets, and executing strategic financial plans to maximize profitability.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify market trends, optimize menu engineering, and collaborate with marketing teams to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Brand Ambassador: Uphold and elevate the brand's identity, ensuring consistent delivery of premium service and operational excellence.

2. Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • End-to-End Operations: Oversee day-to-day front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations to maintain peak efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) regulations, SG Clean standards, and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) employment guidelines.
  • Vendor & Supply Chain Management: Negotiate contracts with key suppliers, manage inventory control, and optimize food and labor costs without compromising quality.

3. Talent Management & Culture

  • Workforce Planning: Architect manpower structures, manage recruitment strategies, and foster a high-performance corporate culture.
  • Mentorship: Train, mentor, and evaluate assistant managers and supervisors, building a robust leadership pipeline within the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive management experience in premium restaurants or luxury hospitality groups, with at least 3 years in a General Manager or Director capacity within Singapore.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is highly preferred.
  • Skills: Profound understanding of Singapore’s local F&B landscape, consumer behavior, and labor regulations. Exceptional financial acumen, data analytical skills, and proficiency in modern POS and inventory management systems. Strong bilingual communication skills (English and Mandarin) are required to effectively liaise with a diverse workforce, key stakeholders, and international suppliers.
