Role Purpose | The General Manager provides overall leadership and strategic direction for the Company’s operations, driving sustainable growth, profitability, and return on investment. The role ensures effective execution of business strategies while maintaining operational excellence and strong stakeholder relationships. |

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Corporate Leadership
- Lead the development of the Company’s vision, strategic direction, and long-term plans for Board approval.
- Drive the formulation and execution of strategies that maximize shareholder value and enhance return on investment.
- Provide strategic and technical advice to the Board on corporate planning and business development matters.
- Ensure alignment of operational plans with corporate goals and objectives.
- Champion and embed the Company’s culture, values, and standards across all levels.
- Oversee the development and review of policies, procedures, and operational frameworks to ensure relevance and compliance.
- Build, lead, and sustain a high-performing management team.
- Assume full accountability to the Board for overall Company performance.
2. Business Development & Growth
- Lead the identification, development, and commercialization of new business opportunities aligned with the Company’s strategy.
- Review and evaluate business plans and develop robust financial models to support investment decisions.
- Provide strategic oversight of marketing and sales functions to drive revenue growth.
- Strengthen the Company’s market presence locally and internationally to enhance business acquisition and retention.
- Develop and implement innovative business processes to improve service delivery.
- Manage strategic partnerships, alliances, and service providers in line with Group directives.
3. Operations & Project Management
- Oversee planning, execution, and evaluation of all projects and services to ensure efficiency and quality delivery.
- Establish systems, procedures, and guidelines for effective monitoring and continuous improvement.
- Ensure optimal resource allocation, including workforce planning, to meet operational demands.
- Promote and maintain a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.
4. Performance Management & Risk Oversight
- Develop and implement a robust performance management system for all staff.
- Monitor organizational performance against approved budgets and strategic targets.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal policies and standards.
- Identify and manage enterprise risks affecting operations, finances, reputation, and continuity.
- Ensure consistent delivery of services that meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations.
- Safeguard the Company’s brand through adherence to contractual and service obligations.
5. Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, government agencies, and business partners.
- Engage key stakeholders to identify opportunities and provide strategic insights to the Board.
- Facilitate partnerships with local and international investors to support business expansion.
6. Financial Management
- Lead the preparation and submission of the Company’s annual budget for Board approval.
- Ensure effective financial management to achieve revenue, profitability, and cost targets.
- Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and statutory financial obligations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
7. Leadership & Governance
- Provide executive oversight of all departments to ensure alignment with Company objectives.
- Lead senior management in making strategic decisions, including expansions, partnerships, and investments.
- Promote collaboration, communication, and a unified organizational culture.
- Oversee executive-level recruitment, performance, and succession planning.
8. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Provide regular performance and operational reports to the Board and Group leadership.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and global best practices.
- Continuously review business performance, benchmarks, and targets to drive improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Master’s degree (MBA) in Project Management, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 12 years’ relevant work experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management or leadership role.
Professional Certification
- Membership of a recognized professional body is required.
