About the Role

Our client, a leading provider of power and energy solutions, is seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager to lead its Renewable Energy Division. The successful candidate will drive business growth, oversee operations, lead project execution, and strengthen the company's position within Nigeria's renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.
• Oversee daily operations and ensure service excellence.
• Lead business development initiatives and secure new clients.
• Drive sales performance and expand market share in solar and inverter solutions.
• Manage renewable energy projects from initiation to completion.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across sales, engineering, operations, and customer service.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Identify market trends, emerging technologies, and growth opportunities.
• Maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.

• Minimum of 8–10 years of leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Experience within the renewable energy, solar, inverter, electrical engineering, or power sector.
• Proven track record in business development, operations management, and strategic leadership.
• Strong understanding of Nigeria's renewable energy market and regulatory environment.
• Experience managing large-scale solar or inverter projects.
• Strong financial, commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business reporting tools.
