General Manager
The client is seeking a commercially aggressive, results-oriented executive to lead its Buildcore Business Unit across Peninsular Malaysia and drive commercial growth across the infrastructure, utilities, and property sectors. The successful candidate will take full accountability for the Central Region’s performance and profitability while expanding market presence in construction materials, precast, and spun concrete products. This role requires a proven regional leader to strengthen strategic partnerships, oversee operations, and position the client as the preferred infrastructure solutions provider
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience within construction materials,
precast concrete, heavy manufacturing, infrastructure, or engineering industries.
- Minimum 8 years in senior management or General Management roles with full
commercial accountability.
- Proven experience in Bursa Malaysia listed companies/MNC is highly preferred.
- Strong experience managing regional business growth, P&L, strategic planning,
and commercial operations.
- Entrepreneurship mindset.
- Ability to balance commercial growth with operational excellence.
- Ability to develop a strong performance culture.
- Willingness and readiness to travel extensively to the assigned region and to plant
and HQ office.
