Job Summary

Lead local operations to execute strategic goals, ensure compliance, manage financial and administrative functions, and develop high-performing teams aligned with global corporate standards.

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth by executing the strategic vision set by the Board and Parent Executive team to align with corporate goals
  • Represent the entity as authorized corporate signatory with regulatory authorities, financial institutions, and local partners to ensure compliance and stakeholder engagement
  • Deliver operational, financial, and strategic performance reports to senior executives and board members to support informed decision-making
  • Oversee daily administrative, operational, and facility management to maintain efficient office operations
  • Implement and adapt standardized operational processes, workflows, and policies to meet local requirements while aligning with headquarters standards
  • Manage relationships with local vendors, suppliers, and service providers including registered agents, auditors, legal counsel, and IT infrastructure providers to support operational needs
  • Control local operational budgets, monitor cash flow, and conduct financial forecasting to ensure fiscal responsibility and optimize resources
  • Maintain internal financial controls, prepare for audits, and ensure accurate financial reporting compliant with international and local accounting standards
  • Oversee international transfer pricing compliance, cross-border payments, and local banking relationships in coordination with the central finance team to ensure financial integrity
  • Ensure full compliance with jurisdiction laws, corporate governance, tax obligations, and regulatory requirements such as Economic Substance, AML/KYC, and FATCA/CRS to mitigate legal risks
  • Develop and implement risk management frameworks to proactively address operational, legal, and reputational risks
  • Recruit, lead, and develop the local team to build a high-performance culture aligned with global corporate values and business objectives
  • Manage local human resources functions including compliance with labor laws, payroll regulations, and employee benefits administration to support workforce stability
  • Foster effective remote and cross-border collaboration between local personnel and global headquarters to enhance operational integration and communication

Required competencies and certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or related field (MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in operations or general management, including managing entity, regional subsidiary, or shared service center
  • Deep knowledge of corporate governance, international compliance standards, and regional business practices
  • Strong proficiency in corporate budgeting, profit and loss management, financial analysis, and cross-border financial operations
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English required for effective reporting and stakeholder engagement

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Additional local language skills to facilitate communication and collaboration with local stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-border teams across different time zones and cultures to achieve operational goals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on risk mitigation and operational efficiency
  • High degree of self-motivation and accountability to independently drive local operations with minimal supervision
