General Manager — Salon & Medispa (Sharjah)
About Moon Beauty Salon:
Moon Beauty Salon is an established ladies’ salon in Sharjah, serving generations of clients. We are entering our next phase of growth, with plans to expand into advanced beauty, aesthetics and wellness services, strengthen our brand positioning, and build a premium, results-oriented customer experience.
Our ambition is to develop Moon into a leading beauty, aesthetics and wellness destination inspired by the integrated service model, innovation and premium customer experience of internationally recognised aesthetic clinics such as Biolite Clinic.
We are looking for an exceptional, commercially driven General Manager who can turn this vision into a practical and profitable business expansion plan.
This is a business transformation and revenue leadership role, not simply a salon administration position.
Role Summary:
The General Manager will take end-to-end responsibility for business performance, revenue growth, profitability, sales, marketing execution, team leadership, customer retention, new service launches and operational excellence.
The successful candidate must have a proven record of growing a salon, medispa, aesthetic centre or beauty and wellness business and be capable of identifying new revenue opportunities, building a strong team and implementing measurable growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Growth & Revenue Leadership
Develop and execute a 12-month business growth strategy for Moon Beauty Salon.
Own monthly revenue, profitability and business development targets.
Build revenue streams across premium facials, advanced skin treatments, body contouring, hair and scalp wellness, hammam and other approved services.
Increase average customer spending through ethical consultations, suitable treatment plans, packages, memberships and retail sales.
Establish performance dashboards covering revenue, gross margin, bookings, conversion, repeat visits and customer retention.
Identify opportunities for future expansion, new treatment rooms, partnerships and additional business units.
2. Advanced Aesthetics & Wellness Expansion
Research market demand, competitors, customer expectations and emerging treatment categories.
Identify suitable equipment, technologies, professional skincare brands and suppliers.
Prepare business cases for new services, including equipment investment, operating costs, pricing, expected demand and break-even analysis.
Lead the commercial launch of approved new treatments, from supplier selection and staff training to marketing and sales.
Develop signature treatment programmes and personalised beauty and wellness packages.
Coordinate with appropriately licensed medical professionals and regulatory specialists wherever clinical services are proposed.
3. Sales, Marketing & Customer Acquisition
Take ownership of converting enquiries from WhatsApp, Instagram, Meta advertising, telephone and walk-ins into confirmed appointments.
Develop effective lead follow-up, consultation, rebooking and customer retention systems.
Work with the marketing team or agency to improve campaign performance, cost per enquiry and cost per booking.
Build referral programmes, corporate partnerships, influencer collaborations and premium client acquisition initiatives.
Improve Google reviews, customer satisfaction, service recovery and word-of-mouth referrals.
Develop a strong brand identity and a premium, consistent customer journey.
4. Team Leadership & Performance
Lead, motivate and develop a multicultural team of therapists, beauticians, receptionists and other staff.
Recruit experienced professionals for existing and new service categories.
Establish individual sales, productivity, rebooking and customer satisfaction targets.
Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching and technical or sales training.
Design transparent commission and incentive programmes linked to profitable business growth.
Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork and exceptional client care.
5. Operations, Profitability & Financial Control
Manage daily operations, staff schedules, appointment utilisation and service quality.
Monitor revenue, expenses, payroll, stock, consumables, supplier pricing and wastage.
Review monthly profit and loss statements and take corrective action when performance falls below target.
Maintain accurate booking, POS and CRM records and ensure effective follow-up of every qualified enquiry.
Submit weekly performance reports and monthly business reviews to the owner.
6. Licensing, Compliance & Professional Standards
Review current salon licensing and determine the correct regulatory pathway for each proposed new service.
Coordinate with the relevant Sharjah authorities and qualified regulatory advisers regarding licence upgrades or clinic classification.
Ensure required staff qualifications, product registrations, hygiene standards, consent records and insurance are maintained.
For medical or clinical treatments, ensure the required facility approvals, licensed practitioners and clinical governance are in place before launch.
7. Strategic Planning & Execution
Present a 90-day transformation plan and a 12-month business growth roadmap.
Prioritise new services according to demand, investment requirements, profitability and regulatory feasibility.
Evaluate opportunities for partnerships with dermatologists, aesthetic doctors, skincare brands and specialist providers.
Build a scalable operating model that can support future expansion.
Compensation & Benefits
Fixed salary: AED 10,000–12,000 per month, inclusive of housing and transport allowance.
Performance bonus: AED 2,000–8,000 per month, based on agreed revenue and business performance targets.
On-target total earnings: AED 12,000–20,000 per month.
Additional milestone bonuses for agreed licensing and new-service launch achievements.
Employment visa, medical insurance, annual leave, annual return air ticket and end-of-service benefits in accordance with applicable UAE law.
How to Apply
Candidates should submit their CV with a brief summary of:
The salon, medispa or aesthetics business they managed.
Revenue achieved before and after their leadership.
