General Manager - Snowboard & Ski School

NewBe an early applicant

P&L & commercial

  • Own the Snow P&L in full: revenue target, pricing, mix, margin.
  • Own peak/off-peak revenue management: pricing within bands, schedule design, utilisation smoothing.
  • Report monthly: revenue vs target, enrolments, re-enrolment rate, off-peak utilisation.

Academy & programs

  • Design the term-based program architecture: children's progression levels, adult programs, holiday camps, corporate programs.
  • Build school partnerships (CCA and enrichment programs) as a recurring B2B2C channel.
  • Own curriculum quality with the head instructor, whose scope is programs and syllabus only.
  • Own re-enrolment: term-end conversion is the school's most important sales moment.
  • Own snow memberships and packages, sold by the BU team.

Seasonal workforce

  • Build and maintain the certified freelance instructor bench: recruitment (including instructors returning from Southern Hemisphere seasons), certification verification, engagement terms.
  • Certify bench readiness before every peak season with the scheduling & training function.
  • Keep bench costs variable — engaged per season, never on payroll.

Team leadership

  • Lead and develop the team of five: creative, marketing, programming & community, guest experience, instruction; KPIs cascaded from BU priorities.
  • Rosters and timesheets run through the central scheduling function; GX crew take shift commands from the MOD.

Operations & standards

  • Uphold safety and instruction standards with the Facilities lead and MODs; safety authority on the floor is absolute.
  • Plan simulator maintenance windows with Facilities around program calendars.
