General Practitioner (Arabic Speaking)

A licensed General Practitioner provides primary healthcare to students and staff at a university in Abu Dhabi, requiring Arabic/English fluency and DOH licensure.
Via Medica in association with International SOS is seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join a highly regarded university in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to students, faculty, and staff while promoting a healthy and safe campus environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Medicine (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
- Valid DOH License as a General Practitioner (mandatory).
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Minimum of 3 years' clinical experience in the UAE.
- Previous experience in a school or university medical centre is highly preferred.
- Experience in Medical Centers, Emergency, and/or Pediatric Departments is required.
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and patient management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary healthcare services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide urgent care as required.
- Promote preventive healthcare through health education and wellness initiatives.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with DOH regulations and clinical best practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the health and wellbeing of the university community.
