General Sales Assistant
As a General Sales Assistant within our stores, you’ll be delivering an efficient and reliable service to our customers who are at the heart of everything we do. You will be a customer advisor achieving our sales whilst living our Matalan Values; maintaining a high performing, energetic and adaptable energy – all whilst making sure that our customer’s experience in-store is at the forefront of our work.

In this role, you will drive the development and implementation of DEI strategies, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. You will work closely with leadership to ensure DEI is integrated into the company's culture and business objectives, providing support, guidance, and leadership across the organization.
As the Head of DEI UK, you will lead efforts to improve diversity in hiring, retention, and promotion. You will oversee the creation of inclusive programs, training, and policies, while measuring the effectiveness of DEI initiatives. Your role will also involve working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the company's commitment to diversity and inclusion is communicated effectively and consistently.

- Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
