General Supply Specialist

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and Major Range & Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Investigate and validate inventory discrepancies between physical inventories and the Logistics Management Program (LMP).

Conduct projects and studies related to the execution of the quality control programs for inventory control and incoming/warehousing functions.

Provide input to functional guidance for system revisions and for special automation projects.

Attend meetings with responsible personnel and makes recommendations and determinations for supply services.

Identify potential problem areas and reports delayed or aging transactions.
