Join our Wellington Maintenance team and play a key role in keeping our roads and infrastructure safe, functional, and looking their best.
We’re on the lookout for a motivated General Worker who’s keen to be part of a hardworking crew delivering essential maintenance work across the region. This is a great entry point into civil if you’ve got some operator or construction exposure and want to build your skills further.
In this role, you’ll be out on site supporting day-to-day maintenance activities – no two days are the same. You’ll be involved in:
- Setting up safe worksites for your crew and the public
- Assisting with machinery operation and general labouring tasks
- Supporting repairs and maintenance across roading infrastructure
- Ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are used efficiently
- Working as part of a tight-knit team to deliver high-quality results
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
Full Class 2 Licence (essential)
WTR an advantage, but not essential
Some experience in civil construction or labouring preferred
Physically fit and happy working outdoors
Reliable, hardworking, and keen to learn
Strong team attitude - you pitch in wherever needed
