Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Genetic Counselor to join our team at Luminary Genetics.

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, Remote, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time
  • Compensation: $85,000 to $90,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day.

How You’ll Contribute

In this role, the Genetic Counselor will:

  • Responsible for patient care on a day-to-day basis.
  • Patient care and case management for PGT-A, PGT-SR, PGT-M and POC
  • IVF clinic communication and management for all clinical care
  • Liaison between all departments
  • Team projects and collaboration for both internal and external purposes
  • They work as part of a interdisciplinary team to provide a high quality of service to all Luminary Genetics patients and their IVF clinics.
  • They are responsible for helping patients understand the process of PGT, their options, their results and its implications.
  • When appropriate, they will also represent Luminary Genetics at industry and conference events.
  • Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

Qualifications and Skills Include:

  • Graduate of a Genetic Counseling Master's Degree program
  • Board Certified
  • GC Licensed in one or more states
  • 1-3 years prior experience in ART/IVF preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good research skills
  • Tech Savvy
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn at all times
  • Excellent multi-tasking abilities
