About the role

Geologist or Geological Engineer - Hydrology and Earthworks (Madrid)

Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary company of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in performing engineering, consulting, and technical assistance activities in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental matters, is looking to hire 1 Geologist or Geological Engineer to provide support in Hydrology and Earthworks projects in the Community of Madrid.

What you'll do

• Support for the coordination of field teams in earthwork inspections on the railway network.
• Management of access to the railway track.
• Control, monitoring, and archival management of the documentation generated.
• Technical control of the work performed.
• Support and supervision of worker performance.

What we're looking for

Compliance with requirements and/or merits must be justified through the performance of assessment tests and/or by attaching the necessary documentation in the "Annexes" section of the registration questionnaire. • Hold a Degree in Geology; or Geological Engineering; or Bachelor's + Official Master's in Geology or Geological Engineering (MECES level 3) (degree officially recognized in Spain or a certificate of equivalence issued by the General Secretariat of Universities)
• At least 3 years of experience with an employment contract in support of work team management
• Availability to travel throughout the national territory (50% of working time)

Nice to have

• Complementary training in Hydrology
• Complementary training in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• From 6 months to 2 years of experience in jobs using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) (experience with an employment contract)
• From 6 months to 2 years of experience in jobs related to geotechnics (experience with an employment contract) (will be verified during technical assessment)
• Knowledge of applications related to the engineering sector (will be verified during technical assessment)

  - Fixed-term contract with an estimated duration of 9 months.
  
  - Full-time.
