Location: London
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000
Penguin Recruitment are working with a rapidly expanding engineering consultancy seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join their friendly London team.

The Role
- Undertake geotechnical design and analysis for foundations, retaining structures, slopes and earthworks
- Interpret ground investigation data and prepare technical reports
- Carry out geotechnical calculations and modelling
- Support projects from feasibility through to detailed design and construction
- Liaise with clients and multidisciplinary project teams
- Attend site visits and provide construction support
- Work towards professional development and Chartership
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or a related discipline
- Previous experience within a geotechnical consultancy/design environment
- Good understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical design principles
- Experience with relevant geotechnical design software
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Working towards Chartership or an interest in achieving it
- Full UK driving licence preferred
