Are you a Geotechnical Engineer, or similar, who has experience working with subsidence, looking to join an established consultancy offering varied projects and an excellent salary?

On offer is the opportunity to join an established geotechnical and environmental engineering consultancy specialising in site investigations, contaminated land assessments and ground remediation.

The company provides a comprehensive range of investigative and engineering services, supported by its own in-house laboratory facilities. Working across a diverse range of residential and commercial projects, the business has developed strong relationships throughout the industry and is expanding its engineering team to meet increasing demand.

You will work in a predominantly office-based role, focusing on technical reporting and the interpretation of laboratory testing results. Your responsibilities will include preparing subsidence assessments and remediation strategy reports, analysing raw chemical soil testing data, and ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant British Standards, including BS 1377, BS 10175 and BS 5930.

The suitable candidate will have experience as a Geotechnical Engineer, with a good understanding of subsidence investigations and relevant report writing.

The Role

• Working from the office and laboratory in Bishop's Stortford
• Collect soil samples and interpret geotechnical and environmental laboratory data
• Writing accurate environmental reports and remediation strategies
• Adhering to all relevant British Standards for testing, logging and subsidence
• Monday to Friday, 8 - 5
