German Senior O2C Specialist – Finance & Accounting

✅ Location: Porto area
• Start date: 26.11.2026 – flexible; another start date can be agreed
• Hybrid: Home office office in Porto Office Park
• Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 – no shifts, weekends off
• Full-time: 40 hours/week, 5 days/week

✅ Project:
Join a finance team supporting a global company that develops insulin delivery systems and diabetes technology. You will work in Order-to-Cash (O2C): the process from receiving an order and issuing an invoice to collecting and allocating the payment.
✅ As a Senior O2C Specialist you will:
• Manage the Order-to-Cash cycle: orders, invoicing, payment collection, allocating incoming payments and resolving billing disputes.
• Review overdue accounts, follow up on unpaid invoices and agree payment terms with customers, including more complex cases.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing, account reconciliations and reporting, while keeping financial controls and compliance requirements on track.
• Improve and automate processes, working with Sales, Logistics, Treasury and Tax teams.
• Guide junior O2C colleagues, share practical knowledge and help the team resolve escalated issues.
✅ Competitive salary and remuneration system:
• Base salary: €2,000 gross/month × 14
• Meal allowance: €7.63 net per working day, approximately €168 net/month, paid via meal card
Average monthly gross package: approximately €2,333 gross/month meal card (annual average, including the 2 extra salary payments)

✅ Requirements:
• You have an excellent command of German (C2).
• You communicate confidently in English (strong B2 /C1).
• You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• You bring solid experience in O2C, Accounts Receivable or Finance Operations, including team leadership. The target profile is 5–7 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• You understand the full O2C cycle, financial controls and compliance requirements, including SOX and IFRS.
• You have hands-on ERP experience (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Workday), advanced Excel skills and experience preparing financial reports.
• You are comfortable with international, multi-currency operations, resolving payment disputes and negotiating with customers and internal teams.
✅ EU citizenship or a valid residence permit with full rights to work in Portugal is required.
