[GFA] Frontend Engineer (Angular)

Summary

This Frontend Engineer role involves building and improving user-facing features for a global HR technology platform using Angular, TypeScript, and state management tools like NgRx. The engineer will collaborate within a Scrum team to develop responsive, accessible UI components while maintaining high code quality through unit testing.

Our customer provides innovative solutions and insights that enable our clients to manage risk and hire the best talent. Their advanced global technology platform supports fully scalable, configurable screening programs that meet the unique needs of over 33,000 clients worldwide. Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, they have an internationally distributed workforce spanning 19 countries with about 5,500 employees. Our partner perform over 93 million screens annually in over 200 countries and territories.

With this project, we're enhancing functionality and usability. We’re also setting new standards in compliance management by offering easy access to crucial information, ownership tracking and automated notifications. Our system will empower end users to multitask like never before, enabling them to effortlessly switch between cases which will increase efficiency and give them complete control.

Position – how you’ll contribute

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer who will join an international team focused on delivering intuitive, accessible candidate experiences. Working closely with our diverse and talented team, you will help bring our product interfaces to life by:

  • working within a Scrum team of Engineers to build and improve user-facing features
  • developing UI components and screens based on documented business and design requirements
  • collaborating with designers and backend engineers to translate mockups into responsive, accessible interfaces
  • contributing to our shared component library and helping maintain consistency across applications
  • writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews
  • providing input and estimates on the effort required to build desired functionality

Expectations – the experience you need

  • Approximately 3 years of development experience using JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Expertise in building responsive and advanced UI components compliant with WCAG standards using Angular, ensuring applications are well-performant and optimized for mobile devices or weak internet connection
  • Experience of working with NX, RxJS, and NgRx/Store for state management and modular application development
  • Confident use of modern CSS layout techniques, particularly Flexbox, to build responsive, cross-device layouts
  • Strong experience with unit testing using Jest to meet high quality standards
  • Awareness of basic frontend security practices and a mindset for writing secure, resilient code
  • Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines

Additional skills – the edge you have

  • Hands-on experience developing reusable web components using Lit, or a strong willingness to learn
  • Working knowledge of React for contributing to and maintaining existing applications
