About Global Health & Humanitarian
Medicine Course
The Global Health & Humanitarian Medicine (GHHM) course is organized by Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). It is a part-time, blended learning course designed to equip medical doctors with medical knowledge and public health skills required to work in low- and middle-income countries, including humanitarian crisis contexts. It is organized through contributions of clinicians, colleagues of academic institutions, international organizations and MSF; to provide up-to-date teaching and guidance on key areas in global health and humanitarian medicine. The GHHM also prepares students to sit the Exam of the Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene (DTM&H) organized by the UK Royal College of Physicians (RCP). For the DTM&H Exam all students are required to attend once a 2-3 days parapsychology laboratory training at one of the DTM&H accredited parapsychology laboratories partnering with the GHHM course.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The intern will be
attached to the Global Health and Humanitarian Medicine Course department.
Responsibilities include:
1. Sending generic communication to applicants on their course related queries.
2. Support in organizing lecture feedbacks and collate the feedback response.
3. Support the GHHM team during the new course session for onboarding and joining formalities of students.
4. Data entry.
5. Gap fill for Site Administrator in managing the administrative arrangements of lecture webinar – If required.
6. Support in administrative activities e.g.- collating information and centralization of reports and documents
7. Minute meetings as required.
Internship period: 3 to 6 months.

Work Timing: 9 am – 5.30pm
Workdays: Monday – Friday
Requirements
Ideal Candidate:
1. Keen to learn new things.
2. Is an effective communicator who can establish rapport with people at all levels.
3. Have high energy levels, self-motivated, positive attitude.
4. Possesses the capacity to remain focused on the task at hand as well as multi-tasking.
5. Have a strong sense of ownership for assigned tasks and a willingness to go the extra mile when needed.
6. Prefer medical background. If not possible, a candidate currently pursuing a degree in commerce or international business, social work or related field, or a recent accounts or administration field graduate is also acceptable.
7. Working knowledge of MS Office.
8. Any prior experience in a similar field.
9. Are available for 6 months full-time (in-office) internship.
