At Valley Presbyterian Hospital, our GI Lab team plays a vital role in delivering safe and efficient procedural care. We’re seeking a skilled GI Lab Technician to support endoscopic procedures, maintain equipment, and ensure a high-quality patient experience.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and ensure availability of supplies and equipment for GI procedures
- Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopes and related equipment
- Monitor and document disinfecting processes and equipment logs
- Support patient preparation, transport, and comfort before and after procedures
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, reporting any issues
- Operate video and computer systems used in GI procedures
- Follow infection control, safety, and quality standards
- Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to support patient care

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- AHA BLS certification
- Ability to obtain LA City Fire Card within 30 days
Preferred
- 1 year of GI Tech or related procedural experience
- CNA certification
