You will be part of a team of GIS professionals specialising in spatial data management. Your contractual location will be Heelis, Swindon. However, there will be an opportunity to explore and agree a hybrid working arrangement which strikes the right balance for you and the Trust. The role may also involve travel to properties or other regional hubs across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.You will design and implement a structured GIS training programme for users across the organisation. From junior roles through to directors and spanning all capability levels from beginner to advanced, you will empower users to confidently self-serve and support the transition to a self-service GIS model. You will create high-quality learning materials and provide ongoing technical support whilst leading for best practice in data management, analysis and map production. You will build a community of practice, which in essence will bring GIS users from across the organisation together to collaborate, share knowledge, develop skills and promote best practice.
